Each piece listed under the shop's Non-Fungible Gold category comes with an NFT stored on a Blockchain. There is going to be one NFT collection for each jewellery model

and one NFT for each unique piece of jewellery. Meaning that every NFT represents an unique Real-World Asset (RWA).
Each RWA's authenticity can be verified by comparing its physical properties such as the shape, the serial number, the weight and the finish with the data linked to the NFT. To make this process as simple as possible, there is an NFC card for each relevant piece of jewellery. The card can be used to easily retrieve the relevant data using the free smartphone app. The NFT also includes a digital 3D animation of the piece of jewellery and a graphic containing the last frame of a video recording documenting the weighing of the product after manufacture with the help of 5 synchronously running cameras. The media helps to reconcile the serial number and prove that the product actually has the weight entered in the NFT. The complete weighing process is not linked to the NFT due to the large amount of data - but will be published on our website in the future. Another special feature of the NFT is that the product-specific material price is displayed in real time via the smartphone app or browser interface and is updated every 5 seconds based on the spot price.
All the linked data is stored on the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) - a fully decentralised open source protocol and peer to peer network with no single point of failure - and cannot be changed or deleted by any party.
The NFTs of the Alpha collection are minted on the Polygon PoS chain, which allows for cheap and fast transactions while - once the Polygon PoS chain becomes a zkEVM Validium Layer 2 chain of Ethereum - leveraging the security of the Ethereum Mainnet.
